Families can learn about the life of Richard Henry Dana and his journey on the Brig Pilgrim, the ship that carried Dana from Boston to Dana Point. Jeffrey Paul Williams portrays Dana and a number of other characters in “Two Years Before the Mast,” a theatrical show about the explorer staged on the tall ship in Dana Point Harbor. Performances are July 24, 31 and Aug. 7 and 14 at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20. Information: (949) 496-2274.
