No Need to Secede

I must be a member of the “silent majority” of Valley residents who do not wish to secede from the city of Los Angeles. I have lived in L.A. my whole life and in the Valley since 1968. I resent my tax dollars being used for this expensive secessionist study.
I like being part of Los Angeles! Why don’t we ask the 125,000 people who signed these petitions about Valley cityhood to pay for the study.
By the way, I am a member (although an inactive one) of the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Assn.
