Kevin Nerison was recognized by the City Council on Tuesday for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. Achieving the honor required performing a variety of Boy Scout skills and earning at least 21 merit badges. Only 2% of Boy Scouts receive that distinction, according to city staff reports.
