The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified a man whose body was discovered near a burned car Friday afternoon.
Levon Barsegyan, 39, of Van Nuys was found in tall grass on the 12600 block of Paxton Street near the Foothill and Ronald Reagan freeways, Lt. Cheryl MacWillie of the coroner’s office said Saturday. The cause of death is under investigation, she said.
Barsegyan was discovered about 75 feet from where a burning four-door, compact car was extinguished by firefighters Monday night.
Barsegyan was reported missing to authorities Tuesday.
