Vertel Corp. Expects Restructuring Charge

Vertel Corp., Woodland Hills, said that it expects a nonrecurring charge of about $600,000 due to restructuring in the fourth quarter of 1999. As announced in October, the company plans to reduce its work force, move engineering to offshore locations and consolidate operations at its San Diego facility.
Vertel provides software technologies and applications for digital information industries.
