Mary Star 59, Vasquez 34--Patrick Allen rushed for 313 yards and four touchdowns in 19 carries for the Stars in the Division XII playoffs at Daniels Field.
Allen scored on a 71-yard run on Mary Star’s first play and added touchdown runs of 50, 53 and one yards.
Erick Jackson scored on a 70-yard touchdown run with 7:28 remaining in the first quarter to give Vasquez (5-6) a 14-7 lead.
Mary Star (8-3) scored 31 consecutive points in a span of 12:32 in the first half.
Jackson had 141 yards in 19 carries and Wes Anderson had 142 yards and three touchdowns in 20 carries for the Mustangs.
