The city is hosting a series of holiday events for the whole family. On Dec. 11 at 8 a.m., Santa Claus will hold his annual breakfast at Lake Forest Elementary School. Pancakes, sausage, fruit, bagels, juice and coffee will be served until 10 a.m., followed by children’s make-it, take-it crafts until noon. Santa will be available for pictures and wish lists. The cost is $3 for children under 12 and $4 for adults.
From 1 to 5 p.m., In the Nick of Time will feature an afternoon of games, crafts, snacks and fun for children grades kindergarten to six, while parents take off to finish up holiday shopping. This free program includes supervision. Registration is available on site and space is limited.
