“CRA Ends Deal for Mall With Magic Johnson” (Nov. 19) confused the issue. The Magic Johnson/Victor MacFarlane team still has every opportunity to develop Santa Barbara Plaza, as do other interested parties. The community and I await a viable proposal from whomever it is that can improve, rehabilitate and redevelop the plaza, and that includes Johnson and MacFarlane.
As for my own efforts, I will not rest until there is economic vitality once again at Santa Barbara Plaza.
