Protest Over Mosque

Re “Churches Close in Protest of OK for Israel Mosque,” Nov. 23: It is disconcerting to learn that God lives in such a low-lying area that prayers will be blocked by the mosque. I see that there is still that heartwarming relationship between Mammon and religion, expressed in the vital interests of the tourist business. While Satan dances in glee, I suggest the issue be settled in a time-honored manner: Let the Christians start another crusade, meeting a jihad on the field of battle, and may the best God win.
