Northridge is 4-24 against Fresno State and hasn’t defeated the Bulldogs since 1971. The Matadors should get a boost from the return of forward Andre Larry, who began the season serving a two-game suspension for participating in an unsanctioned summer league. Larry, a 6-foot-9 senior, is part of a front court that’s considered the best in the Big Sky Conference. Junior 6-9 center Brian Heinle had 21 points in an 80-65 victory Saturday over Cal State Dominguez Hills. Forward Jermar Welch of Northridge is expected to be sidelined for eight weeks because of torn ligaments in his left thumb.
