Legendary Greek

The Larchmont Deli makes hearty sandwiches with kosher salami, smoked turkey, roast beef and other deli meats. But--surprise--the house specialty is Greek food. We like the moussaka, a big square of beef and eggplant topped with thick Bechamel. An order comes with tzatziki, which is a creamy cucumber-yogurt dip, and pita bread. Try the spanakopita, too. It’s a large, flaky triangle of filo dough stuffed with feta cheese and freshly cooked spinach.
