In a book that reads more like a history lesson than a guide to stock-picking, the legendary former manager of the Vanguard Windsor fund dispenses folksy, common-sense advice. The question is will Neff’s value-minded and contrarian approach to the markets--such as telling readers, “Don’t chase highly recognized growth stocks”--seem relevant to today’s investors?
