The city invites residents to a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday for a $5.9-million housing development on Walker Street.
Food and refreshments will be served at the event, which will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions about the project, a 60-apartment affordable-housing complex for senior citizens, said Tami Piscotty, assistant city manager.
The development is scheduled to be completed by spring. The groundbreaking will take place from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
