Lancaster scored four runs in the 11th inning to beat the San Bernardino Stampede, 7-3, in 11 innings in a California League game Saturday night at San Bernardino.
Peanut Williams hit a two-run home run, his 26th, in the eighth inning to pull Lancaster into a 3-3 tie.
Joel Ramirez singled to center field to drive in Matt Sachse for the JetHawks’ first run of the 11th inning.
Harvey Hargrove had four hits and drove in a run for Lancaster, which improved to 54-85 overall, 31-38 in the second half.
San Bernardino (79-60, 38-31), which is tied for first place with High Desert in the Cal League’s South Division second-half standings, has earned a wild-card berth in the playoffs.
The Stampede needs a victory over Lancaster in its finale today at San Bernardino to claim home-field advantage over the Mavericks in the league playoffs.
The Stampede got two hits and a stolen base from Lamont Matthews, who was making his second appearance since being called up from Yakima. Bubba Cosby had two hits for San Bernardino.
