ANTELOPE VALLEY — A 44-year-old bicyclist, who authorities believe pedaled through a red light and was struck by a car, died Sunday.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene after she was hit about 4:49 p.m. in the intersection of 10th Street West and Avenue K, said Sgt. Daniel Belland of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Antelope Valley Station.
Although the cause was under investigation, investigators believed the woman went through a red light while riding against traffic.
