The Heritage Society will dedicate a flagpole at the corner of La Paz Road and Marguerite Parkway at 10 a.m. Sept. 18. The dedication is part of California’s sesquicentennial celebration and will include a classic car show and food court at the Mission Viejo Library. There will also be arts, crafts and music for children throughout the afternoon, as well as professional storytellers and a ceremony recognizing Native Americans.
