Although he’s working hard at getting to know the city, interim City Manager Dan Miller said he doesn’t want to get too comfortable.
“I never bring in pictures for the desk or the walls,” he said. “I tend not to make myself at home; I don’t want to make any drastic changes.”
Miller, 49, is temporarily taking on the position of top city official as controversy continues to surround former City Manager Arthur Simonian. As a private consultant who specializes in helping agencies get through transitional periods, Miller said his job is to step in during tough times and step out after things cool down.
