Girl, 2, Is Killed After Falling From Building

SHERMAN OAKS — A 2-year-old girl died Sunday night after she fell from a two-story building in the 4200 block of Mary Ellen Avenue, police said.
No one was in custody after the incident, which occurred around 6:50 p.m., a spokeswoman with the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The LAPD’s Abused Child Unit is investigating, but no further details were available Sunday night.
