City officials are gearing up for a busy fall this year.
As part of a team of North County cities, Placentia will be pushing for public support to get local railroad crossings put below street level at crossings along Orangethorpe Avenue.
A series of public meetings is being planned throughout October and November to explain that a little traffic inconvenience in the form of construction delays will have advantages once the lowering is done.
The meetings with local businesses and residents will be held to explain the $250-million project and how it will affect the community.
