Math Council to Honor 3 Teachers

Three outstanding math teachers will be honored at the Ventura County Math Council’s annual awards banquet Thursday in Oxnard.
The council will honor Nancy Myers of E.P. Foster Elementary School in Ventura, Kimmie Warshaw of Thousand Oaks High School and Jan Prezzano of Westlake High.
Sharon Morgan, lesson specialist for Oak Park Unified School District, will be honored as an outstanding supporter of math education.
Randall Charles of San Jose State University will be the guest speaker.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Oxnard. The cost is $25.
