Crosby Honored in Tournament

Team USA shortstop Bobby Crosby was named most valuable player of Baseball Week in Haarlem a tournament in The Netherlands in which the U.S. national team twice beat Cuba.
Crosby, from La Quinta High and Long Beach State, had a grand slam and eight runs batted in in six tournament games and played flawless defense.
The national team finished 27-3-1. In 29 games, Crosby, 20, batted .294 with two home runs, 21 RBI and seven stolen bases. He committed four errors in 97 chances.
