Georgia Tech Feels at Home

This is a bowl game in the loosest sense of the word for Georgia Tech.
The No. 15 Yellow Jackets (9-2) were right at home as they prepared for today’s Peach Bowl game against Louisiana State (7-4). The Georgia Tech campus is only about a mile away from Atlanta’s Georgia Dome.
“I feel like this is going to be a road game for us,” LSU Coach Nick Saban said. “I expect a lot of noise, and it’s going to be a partisan crowd for Georgia Tech.”
Saban got a feel for the treatment his team can expect when he attended a hockey game earlier in the week with his Georgia Tech counterpart, George O’Leary.
When the coaches were introduced for a puck-dropping ceremony, O’Leary received a loud ovation; Saban was booed.
“I didn’t realize I was so unpopular in Atlanta,” Saban said.
