Irvine Valley Falls Short at Hancock Tournament

Irvine Valley got 21 points from Chris Ferguson, 19 from Ali Goodman and 17 from Chet Johnson but still lost to host Hancock, 81-76, in the final of the Hancock tournament.
Ferguson made five of six three-pointers and Goodman had a game-high 11 rebounds.
Keith Childs had 23 points and Terrell Young 20 for Hancock.
In a consolation game:
Cuesta 60, Cypress 57--Adam Rachlin made five three-pointers and had 23 points and Brandon Erquhart had 13 points in the consolation game for Cypress (7-9).
In the Desert women’s tournament:
Lassen 86, Golden West 64--Randi Perry had 15 points and 16 rebounds for Golden West (3-12) in the round-robin game.
In a nonconference game:
Chaffey 77, Orange Coast 65--Kristen Urban made four three-pointers and had 19 points and 12 rebounds for host Orange Coast (10-7).
