The City Council on Tuesday approved a request by Pacific Bell Wireless to install antennas on city-owned property. Three antenna sections and a microwave dish will be installed about 45 feet up on the existing electrical tower near Alicia Town Center. Additional equipment will be built near the base of the tower. The council approved the request on the condition that the equipment beside the tower be secured with a fence and hidden with landscaping.
