A military reserve unit will be honored April 1 for its Y2K communications support at the Armed Forces Reserve Center. From Dec. 28 through Jan. 2, the section was on active duty and distinguished itself by maintaining high-frequency communications for the California Army National Guard at armories throughout California. Several local politicians are expected to attend the public event in front of Building 6 at 11 a.m.
