YEAR: Junior
SPORT: Track and field
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Jakosky, the 1999 Ventura County cross-country champion, has run career bests of 5:04.03 in the 1,600 meters and 10:54.14 in the 3,200 to rank third and second, respectively, for performers in the region this year.
