Master-Halco Buys East Coast Fence Company

Master-Halco Inc., La Habra manufacturer of fence systems, said Thursday it acquired Reeves Southeastern Corp., a manufacturer of fencing products, for $35.5 million and the assumption of certain liabilities. Reeves is a subsidiary of Diamond Home Services. Reeves has 32 branches in the eastern U.S., manufacturing plants in Tampa, Fla., and Birmingham, Ala., and its Electronic Entry Distributors unit in Santa Monica.
The transaction is scheduled to close in the first quarter next year.
Master-Halco is a subsidiary of New York-based Itochu International Inc.,
