St. Bonaventure Streak Hits 22

Sophomore Whitney Lewis scored two first quarter touchdowns and St. Bonaventure High stretched its Ventura County-record winning streak to 22 games with a 47-0 victory over Bishop Diego on Thursday night at Ventura High.
Lewis caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Jack Swisher to cap a five-play, 46-yard drive on St. Bonaventure’s first possession. He ran four yards for a touchdown on the next possession to give the Seraphs (8-0, 2-0 in league play) a 16-0 lead.
Lewis finished with five catches for 46 yards.
Junior running back Lorenzo Booker rushed 11 times for 123 yards and one touchdown for St. Bonaventure.
Booker, who lifted his season total to 1,783 yards, rushed for a 24-yard touchdown that gave the Seraphs a 40-0 lead in the third quarter.
St. Bonaventure, which scored on its first four possessions, rushed for 219 yards while holding Bishop Diego (4-4, 2-1) to 88 total yards.
Brandon Mascorro capped 33-point first half with a 48-yard punt return for a touchdown.
Swisher completed eight of 18 passes for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
Terrail Lambert added a three-yard scoring run for the Seraphs in the third quarter.
