* General Mills Inc.’s fiscal first-quarter profit edged up to $158.9 million, or 55 cents a share, from $158.5 million, or 50 cents, as interest expenses surged. The results were in line with estimates. Sales rose 6.4% to $1.67 billion. General Mills closed off 38 cents at $32.44 on the NYSE.
