Bruins’ Losing Streak Reaches Six

UCLA’s struggles continued with a 74-52 loss to Washington State in a Pacific 10 Conference game at Pullman, Wash.
The Bruins (1-12, 0-2) have lost six games in a row, their only win coming Dec. 10 against Long Beach State.
The Cougars improved to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in the Pac-10.
WOMEN
* USC (5-6, 0-1) at WASHINGTON (8-3, 1-0), 1 p.m., Fox Sports Net 2--The Trojans lost their Pacific 10 Conference opener Thursday at Washington State on a last-second layup by Brittney Hawks. Freshman forward Ebony Hoffman led the Trojans with 21 points. Next Sunday USC plays UCLA at Pauley Pavilion.
