Southern Utah 77, UC Riverside 58--Jeff Monaco scored his 16 points in the second half as the Thunderbirds won at Riverside.
Southern Utah (16-4) led, 37-36, in the second half before going on a 17-2 run to break the game open at 52-38 with 11:56 left.
Monaco scored seven of his 16 points during the stretch.
Mark Miller led UC Riverside (7-13) with 14 points. Viliamu Morton finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Ted Bell contributed 12 points.
