Rage Still Unbeaten After Win Over Outlaws

Jeff Brohm passed for 235 yards and two touchdowns Saturday night as the Orlando Rage closed in on a playoff berth, remaining the only unbeaten team in the XFL with a 27-15 victory over the Las Vegas Outlaws (3-3) before 27,044 at Orlando, Fla.
The Rage (6-0) took the lead for good on Brohm’s 16-yard touchdown pass to Kevin Swayne. Ryan Clement’s fumble, which rolled into his end zone when he was sacked, was recovered by Orlando’s Sedric Clark for a late touchdown, ending any chance for a Las Vegas comeback.
Memphis 29, Chicago 23--Jim Druckenmiller hooked up with Daryl Hobbs on a 26-yard touchdown pass with 20 seconds left to lift the Maniax (3-3) over the Enforcers (1-5) before 17,434 at Memphis, Tenn.
The touchdown pass, Druckenmiller’s third of the game, capped a 413-yard passing performance by the Memphis quarterback.
