In the Century League:
No. 9 Villa Park 9, Foothill 2--Dan Reid (8-1) scattered 10 hits and Ray Meras had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored for first-place Villa Park (18-6, 11-2).
Brett Twomey and Chad Bigler each went three for three for Foothill (17-8, 10-4).
In the Freeway League:
No. 5 Sonora 5, Fullerton 1--Reliever Brett Smith had two hits and three RBIs and struck out the game’s last four batters to pick up his second save for the host Raiders (21-3-1, 13-1). Fullerton is 9-14, 7-7.
Troy 7, Buena Park 3--Second baseman Ryan Welch had four hits, including his second homer, and sophomore Spencer Ricci (3-3) struck out five to pick up the win for the host Warriors (11-13, 6-8). Buena Park is 9-14, 7-7.
In the Garden Grove League:
No. 3 La Quinta 19, Los Amigos 0 (5, mercy)--La Quinta had 18 hits in the first two innings as the Aztecs won their ninth consecutive league title.
Garden Grove 5, Bolsa Grande 2--Albert Crisnatos (7-1) pitched a six-hitter, striking out five, for visiting Garden Grove (18-8, 8-3), which tied Bolsa Grande (15-11, 8-3) for second.
Pacifica 14, Rancho Alamitos 12--Six hits, two walks and a sacrifice fly gave visiting Pacifica (15-11, 7-4) seven runs in the seventh inning to erase a 12-7 deficit. Adam Randall and Aaron Randall each had three hits and Davis Holland had a double and grand slam for the Mariners.
In the Golden West League:
Tustin 10, Saddleback 0 (5, mercy)--Michael Cooper (7-3) struck out seven and Bryan Harris drove in five runs and hit his third home run for the host Tillers (14-9-2, 8-2-1).
In the Olympic League:
Calvary Chapel 13, Orange Lutheran 5--A 12-run second inning led Calvary Chapel (15-10, 8-1) to clinch its third consecutive league title. Blake West had three hits and three RBIs.
Cerritos Valley Christian 4, Whittier Christian 1--Sophomore Brad Boekenstein pitched six innings to get the win and Chad Gabriel had two doubles and two RBIs for host Cerritos Valley Christian (11-14-1, 6-2-1).
In the Orange League:
Western 5, Brea Olinda 4--Kyle Stanley pitched a complete game and had two hits for visiting Western (13-10-1, 8-6).
In the Sunset League:
No. 10 Edison 5, No. 1 Esperanza 2--Jeff Gilmore pitched a two-hitter and didn’t give up an earned run and Cory Vanderhook went three for three with two RBIs and two runs scored for visiting Edison (16-8-1, 9-5).
Marina 5, Fountain Valley 3--Down 3-2 in the seventh, Jake Baxter hit a two-run homer to put visiting Marina ahead for good. Baxter then struck out the side in the bottom of the inning for his second save.
