Internet Closures Double in May

The number of Internet companies that closed more than doubled to 29 in May from 13 in April, according to Challenger, Gray & Christmas Inc., which tracks firings and executive departures.
Job cuts at Internet companies fell 24% to 13,419 from April’s record high of 17,554.
