I really think it’s time for me and Robert Gladden to go clubbing. Fire Marshal Bob, as he’s known on the scene, is everyone’s favorite hard-nosed party crasher and he didn’t waste any time axing David Schwimmer’s birthday party Saturday at A Deluxe Diner, the new spot at the old Bar Deluxe. Owned by those Las Palmas hipsters, A Deluxe Diner doesn’t officially open for two weeks, but said hipsters thought they’d christen the joint with a high-profile soiree. Among the revelers, who were later relocated to Las Palmas, were Salma Hayek, Hank Azaria and the Cox-Arquettes.

Dr. Dre says he’s checking out locations for a possible spoken-word night he wants to promote. Sounds bueno .... Ran into cheeky chicas Christina Carey and Pauley Perrette, who were out to support Texas Terri and the Toilet Boys at the Key Club on Tuesday. Carey tells me her shop, Blest, is having a big-time sample sale at Beauty Bar on Sunday. There’s gonna be palm readers. Actress Perrette is busier than ever, but still turning down TV roles that would make her leave L.A.

Promoter Jason Lavitt says tonight’s Tiger Beat dance club at 7969 is dedicated to Britney Spears. Saucy! ... Mink Stole was among the starlets who turned out for last Saturday’s Divine disco party at Club Make-Up. Make-up’s famed divas, Alexis Arquette and Pat Briggs, are teaming up to open Glitterdome at Blue on Friday. Let the fireworks begin.
