Concorde Arrives at JFK After Yearlong Layoff

The Concorde, the world’s fastest passenger jet, roared back into service in a display of confidence in air travel after last year’s fiery crash that killed 113 people and the Sept. 11 attacks that have left the airline industry reeling.
Air France Flight AF002, carrying 92 mainly paying passengers, landed five minutes earlier than scheduled at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport after a nearly four-hour flight from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport.
