Tomato Pickers to Meet on Taco Bell Boycott

The Coalition of Immokalee Workers will conduct a forum Tuesday to explain why it is promoting a nationwide boycott of Taco Bell restaurants.
The 7 p.m. meeting will be at the Unitarian Church, 511 S. Harbor Blvd, Anaheim.
The workers pick tomatoes in what they claim are oppressive conditions. Taco Bell has said that it buys tomatoes from contractors and has no say over harvesting.
