Pepperdine senior Al Garland, ranked fourth in Intercollegiate Tennis Assn. preseason rankings after a semifinal showing at last season’s NCAA championships, is the top-seeded player in the Omni Hotels ITA Southern California Men’s Tennis Championships today through Sunday at Pepperdine.
UCLA’s Jean-Julien Rojer is seeded second in a 64-player singles draw, with defending tournament champion Andrew Park of USC seeded third.
