Frommer Faces Fine Over Contributions

State Assemblyman Dario Frommer (D-Los Feliz) faces a $6,000 fine from state political watchdogs for failing to properly report nearly $40,000 in campaign contributions in 2000.
Frommer failed to report contributions of $24,306 from the Democratic State Central Committee of California and $15,000 from Assemblyman Bob Hertzberg (D-Sherman Oaks), according to an agreement Frommer reached with the executive director of the Fair Political Practices Commission.
The commission is scheduled to vote on whether to accept the agreement and Frommer’s $6,000 penalty on April 11.
