Production in Japan Falls for Third Month

Production by Japanese industry fell more than expected in November, raising concerns that the world’s second-largest economy is heading for another downturn.
Government data showed industrial output fell a preliminary 2.2% in November from the previous month, the third straight monthly drop in output and by far the heaviest since an export-led recovery began to fade in the second half of the year.
