Walt Disney Co. is teaming up with Motorola Inc. to introduce a Disney-branded two-way radio and cordless telephone for children.
The products, costing about $60, will feature the voices of Disney characters, including Cinderella, Mickey Mouse and Disney/Pixar’s Buzz Lightyear.
The partnership is among several Disney plans to tap into a lucrative electronics market for 6- to 12-year-olds. A line of Disney-branded televisions, DVD players, compact disc players, clock radios, printers and digital cameras also are planned.
