TiVo Loss Narrows as Subscriptions Surge

TiVo Inc. said its fiscal-first-quarter loss narrowed as subscriptions doubled and revenue more than tripled.
The loss narrowed to $35.1million, or 74 cents a share, from $50.2 million, or $1.20, in the year-earlier period. Revenue grew to $9.86 million.
TiVo added about 42,000 subscribers in the quarter, giving it a total of 422,000. Its shares rose 44 cents to $4.37 on Nasdaq.
