Holiday closures

Monday is Labor Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:

Offices: All city, county and federal offices will be closed.

Courts: County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.

Libraries: Most city libraries and all county libraries will be closed.

Banks: Most banks and savings and loans will be closed.

Schools: Public schools, colleges and universities will be closed.

Mail: Mail will not be delivered, and all post offices will be closed. Mail deposited in mailboxes will be picked up according to the posted holiday schedule.

Trash: Trash will not be collected, and pickups will be one day late for the rest of the week.

Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on their reduced holiday schedule.

Metrolink: Trains will not run.
