Selna Nominated to Federal Bench in L.A.

President Bush has nominated Orange County Superior Court Judge James V. Selna to the federal bench in Los Angeles.
Selna has served as a Superior Court judge since 1998. Before that, he was a partner at the Southern California law firm of O’Melveny & Meyers.
Selna, 57, earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from Stanford University. If confirmed by the Senate, he will replace retiring U.S. District Judge J. Stephen Letts.
