Peterson In-Laws Faulted for Taking Items

The attorney for murder suspect Scott Peterson said Saturday that an agreement with the family of Peterson’s slain wife over retrieving personal items from the couple’s Modesto home had been broken. On Friday, friends and members of Laci Peterson’s family removed personal articles from the home.
Scott Peterson’s father, Lee, told CNN that the defense team had wanted to videotape the house before items were removed. Lead attorney Mark Geragos said he did not want to fight the issue out “in the media.”
