Man, 75, Suffers Cuts in Home-Invasion Robbery
- Share via
A couple was bound inside their Huntington Harbour home and robbed, police said Friday. The man, 75, suffered cuts. His wife, 60, was not injured.
Police said the man was alone in the Trumbull Drive house when the intruder knocked on the door Wednesday. The robber pushed his way inside, brandished a gun and tied up the man before he ransacked the house, police said.
When the woman came home about an hour later, the robber tied her up and fled with cash and personal items. She freed herself and called police.
Authorities don’t believe this crime is linked to a recent string of home robberies of women here and Newport Beach.
