Tehran to Cease Efforts on Long-Range Missile

Iran announced that it would abandon development of a longer-range missile that could have carried a conventional warhead to Europe or threatened Israel with a heavier nuclear or biological payload.
The declaration that it would not manufacture the Shahab-4 missile came less than three weeks after Iran agreed to suspend uranium enrichment and allow more inspections of its nuclear program.
