Re “With New Hampshire Voters, It’s More the War Than the Economy,” Nov. 10:
If New Hampshire voters actually prefer former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean and their big concern is the war, they are misleading themselves.
Most voters ultimately want a candidate with a chance of winning. With the decisions about starting the Iraq war now a matter for the history books, it seems highly unlikely that an inarticulate candidate with little experience in national issues can beat an incumbent with experience, even one who is similarly inarticulate, like George W. Bush.
