Suspect Fatally Shot by Police Investigators

Anaheim police detectives Friday shot and killed a man in an unincorporated area near Yorba Linda.
Police said the shooting occurred about 10 a.m. during a criminal investigation in the 6600 block of Palma Circle.
The unidentified suspect was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Because the shooting happened in county territory, it is being investigated by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department as well as by the district attorney’s office, which looks into all police-related shootings.
