Riverside Sherman Indian
Rushed 54 times, which is one short of the state record, for 384 yards and three touchdowns in a 22-14 San Joaquin League victory over L.A. Ribet Academy.
Jaycen Taylor, Lakewood Leuzinger
Gained 243 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 28-20 nonleague victory over Hawthorne.
Jesse Ramirez, Montebello Schurr
Ran for 283 yards and six touchdowns in 26 carries in a 48-12 Almont League victory over Montebello. With 2,001 yards rushing, he is the first Schurr back to gain more than 2,000 yards in a season.
PASSING
Frankie Bernard, San Gabriel
Completed 21 of 35 passes for 310 yards and five touchdowns in a 36-7 Almont League victory over Alhambra.
Chris Turner, West Hills Chaminade
Completed 20 of 28 passes for 326 yards and four touchdowns in a 32-0 Mission League victory over Mission Hills Alemany.
RECEIVING
Tristan Patin, Gardena Serra
Caught four passes for 161 yards and three touchdowns in a 43-0 Del Rey League victory over Rosemead Bosco Tech.
MULTI-PURPOSE
David Palacios, L.A. Fairfax
Had two interceptions and knocked down a two-point conversion pass with two minutes left to help preserve a 14-13 Western League victory over L.A. University.
Tristan Taylor, L.A. Washington
Had 19 tackles in a 32-6 Marine League loss to Wilmington Banning.
Jared Billups,
Playa del Rey St. Bernard
Had four of the team’s five interceptions and returned three for touchdowns of 75, 90 and 34 yards in a 36-6 Del Rey League victory over Torrance Bishop Montgomery.
